First make sure you actually booked a cycle boat tour, when you book a confirmation email gets automatically sent to the email you provide us. This email contains all of the important information that you and the group needs to know so be sure to forward or copy/paste to everyone coming so that you do not have to say everything over and over. Also no one can say you did not tell me this or that, its just they did not read what you sent them. People can also check it again later and not have to ask you again. We want to make your job as easy and stress free as possible.
One of the crew will call you in the days leading up to your tour to walk you through the day of your tour and to answer any questions you have at that time. We do this phone call all the time so chances are we will answer any questions you may have had and stuff you did not even think to ask. Our only goal is to make sure you have as much fun as possible in a safe environment so that you and everyone is excited to do another tour with us.
Weather- before we call you we always take a look at the weather so we can mention anything specific that may apply to your tour. we do not cancel tours based on forecasts, as we all know weather forecasters are commonly wrong. you do not have to worry about rain because the awning will keep you dry it is lightning and thunder which prevents us from taking your tour out. we try our best to not cancel tours but to instead delay your start time until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike in the area. When looking at the weather for the day of your tour be sure to look at the radar because if you look at the hourly for rochester it is saying that there is an X% chance of thunder/lightning for somewhere in the whole greater Rochester area. Not the Charlotte pier area where the tour is taking place. We promise to be in constant contact with you on the day of your tour should the weather forecast call for thunder/lightning in the area.
